NEW YORK ANIME FESTIVAL TO MERGE WITH NEW YORK COMIC-CON

Anime News Network is reporting that Reed Exhibitions is going to fully merge the New York Anime Festival with the New York Comic-Con.

The organizers of New York Comic Con (NYCC) announced on Tuesday that the New York Anime Festival (NYAF) will be folded into NYCC, beginning with this year's October 11-14 event. NYCC promised that while NYAF will no longer be a separate event, it will announce anime guests for this year and maintain a "commitment to booking top Japanese entertainment guests."
I support this move as the NYCC has become one of the top events in North America.
