Harmony Gold has expanded Robotech presence in world of social media by establishing an official Facebook page for the franchise.  The page already has over 20,000 users and appears to be updated every weekday. This would appear to be the closest thing to an official blog for the franchise.

Harmony Gold has migrated much of its photo coverage of the Robotech Convention Tour to this page along with surprise updates about Robotech projects currently in production.

For fans wanting the latest news as it happens Robotech.com has created an official Twitter News Feed. Twitter is a social networking and microblogging service, enabling its users to send and read other users' messages called tweets often directly to mobile devices.

One of the nice aspects about twitter is that your mobile device can automatically notify you when there is a new tweet on the Robotech news feed. This way you can be notified on all the latest news once Harmony Gold puts it up on the feed.
